New Iberia, La. (KADN)- "Situations like this are just unusual."

Investigators say just after 6 p.m. Thursday, Arby's employees found their manager's body inside the walk-in freezer.

New Iberia Police Capt. Leland Laseter tells News 15 that investigators do not suspect foul play. "We're taking extra precautions during the investigation. Pretty much completed our process at the crime scene after completely processing the crime scene preliminary investigation nothing is set in stone yet. This does not seem like a homicide it seems like an accident."

"Coworkers stumbled across her body, that's a little strange on its own. It's like did someone leave her there by herself?", questions Jeffery Ducato, who lives nearby the restaurant.

Questions many like Ducato are still trying to understand.

"It had to have been from the inside, someone like them in there," says Aaron Hebert, another local resident.

However, Ducato doesn't want to think the worst of the co-workers, but is still confused. "You're an employee here, this one time locked yourself in when you are by yourself. With nobody to be able to hear you banging or you know be able to let you out."

For Hebert, his thoughts are with the manager's family, knowing they are questioning what happened. "That lady didn't have to go through that, that's a human. Oh, they got cameras. They got cameras, review the footage, and review the footage. That's all they need to do."

As the investigation continues, police say the woman's name will not be released at this time.
