LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — The skate park being built at Thomas Park behind Johnston Street in Lafayette appears to be almost halfway done.
Park officials broke ground on the project in October 2023.
The new 11,000 square-foot skate park will feature a street plaza with rails and platforms, and a mini ramp.
The park is set to be finished by early May of this year.
