SCOTT, La. (KADN) - It was a soggy Saturday for Mardi Gras festivities in the town of Scott.
Organizers moved up the start time of their parade in the hopes of avoiding the rain, although they weren't able to completely dodge it.
It was the 27th annual edition of the Scott Mardi Gras Parade.
But while crowds were smaller than usual because of the weather, there were still families and friends who turned out to see the floats roll and yell, "Throw me something mister."
