Our positivity rates for those tested for COVID are at 20.6%, the highest since late March 2020.
One week ago, this rate was 19.2% and one month ago it was just 6.4%.
We continue to see high positivity rates in children but haven’t seen COVID hospitalizations.
We’ve seen a concerning and significant increase in the percent positivity in children 19 and under.
Over the last week, we’ve seen a 21.4% COVID-19 positivity rate
That’s up from 16% last week and 7% the first week in July.
Ochsner (and partners) has administered over 480,000 doses of the vaccine.
We’ve seen our daily vaccine volumes in our clinics and community settings go from 500 a day to nearly 800 a day.
In the last two weeks we vaccinated 10,089- we have seen some community locations double in volume over the past week.
Up from 8,000 the previous two weeks.
