LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — Mardi Gras 2024 got underway in Lafayette shortly after 10 a.m. with King Gabriel's Parade. The parade featured marching bands, dancers, lots of floats, and of course, King Gabriel LXXXV.
LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — Mardi Gras isn't Mardi Gras without the crowds lining the streets of Lafayette along the parade route from downtown to Cajun Field. Everywhere else, it was just another Tuesday. But that wasn't the case around Acadiana.
